Sister Naheda Acla entered the Novitiate on May 30, 2015 at the Sisters of Mount Carmel Formation House in Balugo, Dumaguete City, Philippines. Sister Gloria Ibalio, Regional Coordinator, received her as a novice. Sister Naheda joined the sisters in the Philippines on May 31, 2014 as a postulant and a year later she entered the next stage of her formation which is the Canonical Novitiate. Sister Naheda is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Quirino Santillan Acla of Barangay Taritien, Narra, Palawan, Philipines. She was born on November 30, 1995. Prior to her entrance into the postulancy, she began her studies in Nursing and completed two years towards a Bachelor of Science degree.
During the reception into her novitiate Sister Naheda received the habit, a white veil, the Rule of St. Albert, and the Constitution of the Sisters of Mount Carmel. Sister Andrée Marie Bindewald will serve as her formator in this important formation process of her religious life. After the reception, the sisters together with those who witnessed the reception greeted and welcomed Sister Naheda as she enters into another stage of her formation.
