Two junior professed sisters in the Philippines, Sister Juliet Naga, O. Carm and Sister Elsie Villason, O. Carm. renewed their vows on May 1, 2015 at Holy Child Hospital Chapel. Rev. Father Ramonito Torres, Holy Child Hospital Chaplain presided at the Eucharistic Celebration. Mrs. Owena Davis, Rev. Father Ramonito Torres and Sister Gloria Ibalio, Philippine Region Coordinator, signed as witnesses of the renewal of vows. The celebration was well attended by the sisters, friends, family, and benefactors.
Sister Juliet Naga, O. Carm. is involved in our health care ministry. She currently serves as Auditor at Holy Child Hospital and a team leader of Mount Carmel Mobile Clinic in Dumaguete City, Philippines. She is also working towards a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Siliman University in Dumaguete City, Philippines.
Sister Elsie Villason, O. Carm. is currently involved in our education ministry as she serves as a member of the Sisters of Mount Carmel Catholic School mission team, in Fairview, Quezon City, Philippines. She also serves as the vocation director in Luzon Region while at the same time taking some courses towards a Master’s Degree in theology at the Institute of Consecrated Life in Asia, in Quezon City, Philippines.
